NYT statement made only *after* the Weinstein scandal broke and David Boises' role was exposed, correct?

Has NYT explained why they allowed themselves be lobbied by Rusty Crowe & Matt Damon to kill a Weinstein expose over a decade ago?
-
Did you see Matt Damon's response and that the author backed off her initial claim?
-
When Damon had Clooney hold his hand. Yes. That the journo changed her claim, no. Do you have a link where she does this?

Boies is going to get what he deserves over this. Could his career be over too?
-
You can rest assured he could retire comfortably tomorrow.
-
I prefer to think that he would have to retire in disgrace.
-
Disgraced but rich enough to buy himself a private island in the Caribbean, unfortunately.

“Appropriate remedies” for
@nytimes probably includes a complaint filed with the New York bar association. -
Unethical conduct is reported to the Disciplinary Comm' of the Appellate Division in which the lawyer is licensed, not the Bar Association.
-
Thank you for that information. I’m sure the
@nytimes appreciates it as well. -
Oh, trust me, they know it.
