But there's a difference between non-answers and lies. You don't need to give them a free platform to tell their lies.
What “lies” did she say that i didn’t immediately challenge?
Oh, you did and that was well done! But what were your viewers going to learn from her being there? Giving her the platform is unnecessary.
Not exposing this admins insanity would be a disservice to the public. Reporters need to keep letting all of them dig themselves in deeper.
pretty sure everyone already knows..
You'd be suprised
You're catching heat for the "no hard feelings' tweet afterwards. Stop with the strawman, Brian. You're better than this.
There's nothing wrong with interviewing ANYONE. It's when you use the interview to promote how tough you were, then give her a Twitter wink.
People are wary of the kabuki theater of televised conflict. You played DIRECTLY into that yesterday.
10 year olds are being deported from hospitals. If you're going to be tough with a woman defending those doing it, leave out the "go Eagles"
I'm not telling you anything you don't know. Which is why you claim we're mad at "the interview."
More concerned that you've apparently abandoned your roots and have embraced the Philadelphia Eagles. That is unforgivable.
blame? you mean thank !
I think question becomes does interviewing her get us closer to truth or further away. I would argue she does the latter.
Matthew is right. Putting her on, while well intentioned, allows her to spout lies, tarnishing your credibility while further dividing us.
You might argue that you expose the lie. But people are entrenched in their positions and some will only see it as truth regardless.
Therefore you have unwittingly enforced their misperception while annoying your audience. It is a lose/lose proposition for you.
And repetition of the same Conway lies can cause “illusory truth”, turning lies into truth esp among those who want to believe her.pic.twitter.com/sAWPgFuHTX
