Please. We all know that Hillary had a SWARM of bots. Most of us on twitter weren't fooled. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/05/correct-the-record-online-trolls/484847/ …pic.twitter.com/9IA4yamrzf

I've never understood why there is so much focus on "ads". It's troll content masquerading as users that was way more prevalent.

Important context missing: Donald Trump's digital operation, including its Facebook micro-targeting campaign, was run by Jared Kushner.

In other words; Losing had nothing to do with a horrible candidate and a fixed DNC primary. Outstanding analysis, Brian😂

Yeah, I'm really struggling to imagine the swing voter who was swayed to vote for Trump based on some bullshit clickbait ad.

Well, it's not *one* ad, it's low-information voters seeing two dozen ads and promoted stories in a week before voting.

OK, let's add a couple hundred grand to Trump's "outside money" ledger. Clinton still had a massive advantage in terms of campaign cash.pic.twitter.com/1WklU1aBpE
