Trump's threat about TV licenses is essentially toothless. Here's our story explaining why. By @OliverDarcy and Ihttp://money.cnn.com/2017/10/11/media/trump-nbc-licenses-tweet/index.html …

Funny thing, Brian, but we purchased a major VHF TV station via an FCC license challenge. Your "expert" is pretty uninformed.

and how often does that happen? To established network affiliates? almost never

Almost never is right, but not never. We got ours on a (big) Fairness Doctrine violation. But the Public Interest std will also do.

how long ago was that? fairness doctrine was voted down 30 years ago. citing anecdotes from 1/3 of a century ago doesn’t discredit “expert”

It's not an 'anecdote,' an FCC challenge action awarded us his license. The Public Interest std is even broader http://govinfo.library.unt.edu/piac/novmtg/pubint.htm …

President Obamas only flaw is that he wasn't born and white from the Midwest somewhere. Had that been, he would be headed for Mt. Rushmore.

That's the easy answer- anyone who disagreed with Obama is racist- can't just be his policies
