I'm a GA girl. I met Pres. Carter, 2012. He was on a panel with Ted Turner and Richard Branson. Pres. Carter was brilliant... sharp as ever!

I was whining about going down the street to help out with a bunch of volunteers, then I saw Pres Carter - at 92 - helping to build a house.

Completely unfair to equate Trump with Carter. Carter is a fine man with the highest moral principles. Trump is an immoral thug. Shame.

Even Nixon doesn't deserve that comparison, while a total crook and paranoid, Nixon cared about policy beyond its effect on his family

Nixon secretly bombed Cambodia, denied it on TV. More bombs dropped than in all of Europe during WWII. Watergate, the least of his crimes

Fair! Also depressing to see softening of GW Bush's image, as past R presidents paved the way for Trump by appealing to bigots and bloodlust

Carter is a true humanitarian. trump's name can't be mentioned in the same sentence as trump, who is now far worse than Nixon will ever be.

I agree, this comparison is repulsive, as Carter has done more good in last year than Trump will achieve in his pathetic 71.
