The media is obsessed with the politics of Hillary's "blame game" but not too interested in actually assessing the evidence on why shy lost.

It's pretty clear why she lost, the answers are just unacceptable to political punditry

Not really. In counterfactual w/o Comey letter she probably wins. That's interesting and worth looking at in detail. As are effects of leaks

Probably not, polls were tightening days before. Pattern was when Trump didn't make major news, he'd pull into a tie.

Fair.. but Silver disagrees and presents data in favor of his view. I find it an interesting ?. We all know she was a shitty candidate

Silver had her winning but even he had the race tightening before Comey. It's all conjecture.

        I don't think it's pure conjecture:https://www.google.com/amp/s/fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-comey-letter-probably-cost-clinton-the-election/amp/ …

The only way Comey's letter as a cause for Clinton's loss works is if you believe Republicans & right leaning indies stay home without it.

Because they would have to admit they played a role in her loss. The media was interested in ratings than policy. It was hype over substance

They definitely eff'd that all up - they treated the election like a reality show nearly as much as 45 himself did. Investg.Journ. was MIA.

Media (ie male journalists) never warmed up to Hillary. Like most men they just don't like the smartest person in the room being a gal.

Don't know why journalists are so upset by the idea they got played by Russia/Wikileaks. It's just going to happen again if they don't learn
