I feel like the audience should have the option of seeing all images. On the news a warning can be given, but papers can't do that..

Point being: there IS something to be said for not overwhelming viewers w such images and using sparingly to maintain our humanity.

This argument is fascinating. Possible to argue that constantly showing corpses, etc, would desensitize us to suffering? It SHOULD shock.
