The @washingtonpost editorial board filled a full page with names of mass shooting victims. "The list continues to grow." https://wapo.st/2RZVLE2 pic.twitter.com/zJpvCMkPP6

They should do a list of unborn and partial birth aborted babies, a list of ppl killed by priuses and a list of overdose deaths by ppl that used ACA expanded Medicaid to get opiods. We probably have more Americans killed by IA DUI drivers too.

NRA = Putin =GOPutin$. Putin doesn’t mind Americans slaughtering each other, same with China’s leader Xi doesn’t really care about North American opioid crisis and Chinese export of fentanyl.pic.twitter.com/sx7LSEUaN6

Man your thought provoking reply has made me a new man. I must now hand over every gun I own to the government and I have come to the conclusion that the NRA is responsible for every shooting that’s taken place in this last century.

More people die from opiates each year. Guns aren’t even in the top 10. So why do we focus on guns instead of the pressing issues?

So are you doing the list of those saved by defensive gun use? BTW...pushing an agenda that involves the limiting or revocation of the Constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens is not a friendly act by the media...if not the act of an enemy act, it is at least hostile.

How about we list all the people in countries like Canada and in Western Europe, many more than the US who manage to not die despite not having to use guns defensively? Defensive gun use statistics are what happens when all you have is a hammer so everything looks like a nail.

Am I free not to have to pay higher ticket prices for additional security at concerts? Are kids free to go to school without having to do shooter drills and have school budgets cut for extra security? I bet if a heavy tax on firearms was passed, you wouldn’t call it “freedom.”

Law-abiding citizens who own guns, rarely threaten any innocent person. Those who do not abide by the laws don't care about laws. They should be what you focus on. Why tax people who are doing nothing wrong?

Why make law-abiding school children do drills? Why make law-abiding church-goers, concert attendees, nightclub patrons pay for extra security? Why do law-abiding gun owners oppose measures that would reduce the need for those things?

We shouldn't make children do those drills. CCW holders, and not limiting the designating concerts and churches "gun-free zones are more effective deterrents. BTW...we practice a policy of "First, do no evil"

People with weapons at a shooting end up getting shot. Canada and Westen Europe manage to be fine with gun-free zones, having fewer mass murders without CCW deterrents. https://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/cops-blast-man-helped-stop-church-shooting-article-1.3842795 … https://www.npr.org/2018/11/13/667252788/police-fatally-shoot-black-security-guard-who-detained-suspected-shooter …

What if we each invested 5 minutes, one time, over coffee, to merely LISTEN to someone from the other party- say hi, and offer a few words on what we find important in our own world. That's all. Start breaking the divisiveness. RT if I am on to something. #hugsacrosstheaisle
