Federal judge Timothy J. Kelly has sided with CNN, ordering the White House to reinstate @Acosta's press pass. The TRO has been granted. Live coverage on CNN TV nowhttp://www.cnn.com/2018/11/16/media/cnn-trump-lawsuit-hearing/index.html …

The hearing has just adjourned. "I want to emphasize the very limited nature of today's ruling," Judge Kelly said. This is just round one, but it is a victory for CNN.http://www.cnn.com/2018/11/16/media/cnn-trump-lawsuit-hearing/index.html …

Will Acosta hold a press conference, taking only questions from Acosta, anytime soon to discuss this?

Actually he has given less interviews than most of the last 4 presidents going back to Nixon, and his Whitehouse has given the least amount of press briefings than any in modern history.https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2018/05/24/president-trumps-interactions-with-media-not-a-standout-in-any-category/?utm_term=.3cab9fafb254 …

what irreperable harm did Acosta suffer? He acted unprofessional & like a bully! CNN could have easily covered the WH with their other reporters. And don;t tell me his 1st Amendment rights were affected. There is such a thing as acting professionally or suffer consequences!

And, a loss for the rest of the media. Now, they won’t have a press briefing or news conference because Acosta will be there. Better to have replaced him than to have gotten in a passing contest that won’t benefit anyone.

What's the matter @MHJulie can't handle the prospect of today's ruling being used against the dems??? If the 1st amendment right is absolute and includes the defense of Acosta's behavior then that goes for every single citizen of this country!

NO Congrats. THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH FREEDOM OF SPEECH., that isn't what the Judge said.. the Judge commented on the 5th Amendment due process. THE COURT CASE IS TO CONTINUE, But if I were in the Press Room I would NOT call on the ROUGH of a man called Acosta.
