Free press is as essential to Democracy as individual dissent and protests. Good show all.

He’s free to report. He is not gauranteed access to WH grounds. There’s no right to that. Sorry.

If access to these WH press briefings is some sort of constitutional right (and not a privilege) for every single reporter who demands it, then they’re gonna need a much bigger room. Maybe one of the DC sports stadiums will be big enough to hold all these entitled cry babies.

It's not a right to each and every person to have access to the press briefing room. It's a right if the individual is a representative of the press which serves each and every person... It sounds like splitting hairs but it's a distinction with an important difference

But that doesn’t mean that Acosta necessarily has to be the person representing CNN. Acosta wasn’t born with some sort of elite privilege to be at the WH briefings. CNN can send someone else!

Trump is a dictator wannabe. He would love to decide for entities like CNN , Fox etc who they should send or not. That’s not the way it works. The Potus works FOR the people and the entities are free enterprises. He had insulted and demeaned most of them.

Even FOX, wow are they trying to grab a life raft? Is this why, no-tweeting? Have they finally, come to their senses? That would be great, not likely, but great. Then Trump would be all alone in the media. What’s the first thing a dictator does, take away freedom of speech!
