Pro-Trump media voices aren't making legal arguments against CNN's lawsuit, they're making emotional appeals. Case in point...https://twitter.com/Mediaite/status/1062556799302336513 …

I was just on @IngrahamAngle and said nothing emotional. Simply pointed out that CNN’s own video disproves Jim’s saying he never touched intern. How about a simple apology? How about CNN supporting 1st Amnd when conservative media attacked?

Where did they deny anything beyond e.g. that he “put his hands” on her—which is true both figuratively (he clearly did not harm her) and literally (it looks like his wrist touched her).

No need for a legal argument, Constanza. Acosta has repeatedly violated all rules and proper decorum of the WH/briefings. He disrespects the office, the country and his colleagues. If CNN has any shred of dignity, they would have fired him already. He’s an embarrassment.

“Decorum” in WH briefings? Seriously?the press has been called names like and maligned by Trump non stop. We have been lied by sanders and trump a gazillion times so spare us the indignation.

seriously. If a reporter did this to Obama or his press secretary, he’d be kicked out permanently, may even have his phones tapped (ask James Rosen) or get audited by the IRS (which Obama also weaponized). The rest of the media would sit idly by asking him how enchanting it is.

And? If you're trying to make the point that Fox News is a news organization and is more aligned with its competitors (CNN/MSNBC) than it is the White House or any political party, I would agree. Look, we all agree there is a line in behavior a reporter could cross to (1/2)

In my opinion CNN is fake news, 93-97% anti-trump, they have lost all credibility, CNN is the only ones that have not noticed or still pretending they are fooling people and getting laughed at.

No, it's not opinion. CNN has become a 24 hour propaganda. You won't realize this until you step out of your bubble and see the world for what it REALLY is, not what CNN tells you it is, because it's the polar opposite.

So even if protected category, can he refuse the direction to sit down and give up mike? I don’t think he is allowed to insist in getting to talk cause he says so. What then stops every other reporter in the room from the right to demand their question be answered?
