The lawsuit is being filed in U.S. District Court in DC today. Both CNN and Acosta are plaintiffs. There are six defendants: Trump, John Kelly, Sarah Sanders, Bill Shine, the head of the Secret Service, and the officer who took Acosta's hard pass away.https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/13/media/cnn-sues-trump/index.html …

Can the intern sue Acosta for assault? Or at least intentional infliction of emotional distress?
-
If the intern was on the left CNN, MSNBC, etc... would be running stories about her having PTSD following this incident and asking why there are no safe spaces in WH press area.
-
So true she would have already filed an assault charge like that other one did ag Corey during the campaign; CNN MSNBC are so over the top that only someone with way too much time on their hands would take them seriously anymore & they are so racist & a rough nasty hateful crowd

Don’t you have to be a journalist to say your with the press?
@Acosta is all about his brand at this point. He hasn’t done anything that resembles journalism in a long time. -
Don’t think he can claim to be a Journalist!
-
I guess you have the skill set to know that.
-
I think we all know at least basic journalism. Do I think he should have lost his pass..no. But let’s be honest he wasn’t even asking a question last week. It was a “challenge “. Again his popularity and his “brand” is to agitate.
-
This I can agree to. He should lose his pass and CNN should put someone less I want to say confrontational but I am ok with that so maybe respectful of the position. I don’t always like getting a traffic ticket but I am always polite!
-
Confrontational is what you want tho.. Get the right questions answered. What
@Acosta did at the the Summit with the DPRK lets say, Speaks volumes as too how hes doing his "reporting". All about him and his masters hes serving

What a joke! Did CNN get kicked out? No. Can they send anybody else in? Yes. Acosta made a jackass out of himself and got the boot but he can apply for a day pass anytime, he just lost his hard pass. And to be clear, no one has a RIGHT to special credentials. What a waste of time

Instead of filing lawsuits why doesn't CNN send a reporter with basic manners to cover WH events?
-
There are 2 other cnn “journalists” that have wh hard passes.
-
There are more then 2 others.....
-
From cnn? Cuz the report I heard just said 2. If there ar emote only proves my point even more. Acosta isn’t needed.
