That's a heckler during a speech, not a credentialed reporter at a press conference.pic.twitter.com/z95l5mkO5m

I tried to make the same point like it'll even matter. He gave individual many opportunities& never spoke w a bit of disrespect to them nor did he call them a name there is no comparison between the situations. O was also abt to give a speech he wasnt taking questions from press

No. Sometimes you must press through the BS. This is also an extremely hostile WH, so regular rules of civility and mutual respect were suspended BY the WH communication office. The reporters are professional. Sometimes that professionalism demands pressing for answers.

What's effective about Jim Acosta?
-
He sometimes grandstands. Which people like. And he asks tough questions with good framings. Some may not like his style but he’s an effective reporter nevertheless

The process is revoking his hard pass and making him use a day pass and to be escorted.

WHATS' PROCESS TO GOT TO DO WITH IT?

I think the process included considering his consistently rude and combative behavior (all on tape), refusal to pass the mic the first time, and then making contact with the female intern on her second attempt to pass the mic. Seems like a wise decision by the WH to take action.

The moment Sean Spicer took possession of the lectern, it was clear that there was no respect for the reporters and every intention to lie. The WH broke the pact that has governed the WHPR for decades.

I didn't know there had to be a process for throwing out a jerk. Stop referring to
@Acosta as a reporter, he is a Democrat advocate.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

He used the process. Threw him out on his ass. Assaulting a intern is unacceptable.
