But we've been here before haven't we, Brian? "Many news outlets have expressed support for CNN's Jim @Acosta,"or whoever Trump's new media victim is, is starting to sound like the equivalent of "thoughts & prayers" after mass shootings... which we've just had another #Borderline

As long as they keep showing up to those press briefings, "expressing support" is completely meaningless. Hey Media - put your literal money where your mouth is! This is why I appreciate Kaep.

They’re all gutless - It’s required of them by the media outlets they shill for.
-
I think some of them have actually done a decent job standing up to trump – April Ryan and Brian Karem come to mind - but it's all useless if they allow trump to literally pick and choose who counts as "the press"
-
And that's EXACTLY what he's been doing for more than a year now.

Reporters must report the news not create the scene! There are great respectable reporters—bullying or threatening to walkout of
#WhiteHouse future press conferences only creates a more negative environment. Ask Acosta to apologize and move on. The video is clear! - 1 more reply

Are they gonna do something about it, or just Jeff Flake it?

Why didn't he simply concede the mic after he had been told that his time was up numerous times?

Please reference the part of the first amendment that gives a time limit on freedom of the press.
-
Press conferences are not mandated by the 1st amendment. Press conferences are done completely voluntarily by the executive branch as a good will gesture to give the news media a direct connection to the president. Jim got greedy, he asked his question, he's not entitled to more.

Reporters make me laugh. There will be 50 lined up to take the spot of anyone who turns their press pass in and they know it, so more empty nonsense.

If that's true, you and your colleagues could make a joint statement by boycotting Trump's staged press events. Or better yet, show up but turn your backs on him or his lying lackey Sarah Sanders. They've earned your scorn, and that of the American public. Boycott them.
-
Yes, please boycott them and we won’t have to listen to any more of your fake news drivel!
