Now that Jim @Acosta's hard pass has been suspended, who's next? Which reporter might be next? https://mailchi.mp/cnn/rs-nov-7-2018 …

Imagine a FoxNews reporter behaving like that with Obama ... can you imagine @brianstelter uncritically supporting the reporter? Are there no rules-etiquette in a press conference? Or are reporters allowed to do anything because they are saints?

No, I can not imagine it because Obama answered the hard questions. Reporters are not saints but we have a president that tries to be a king. He abuses his power and the office. Reporters ask because Trump needs accountability for his words and actions.

Catherine, question was asked and answered. Reporter did not like the answer and tried to engage in a debate with the President. Other reporters had questions also.

Perhaps the next reporter who refuses to sit down after asking several questions in a scrum. Who talks over and interrupts the president in a public setting. Hate the president but respect the presidency. @Acosta is intent on confrontation.

It is hard to respect the presidency when the president doesn't respect it. This president respects none of the American people, journalists or anybody else. He is a legend in his own mind.

Totally agree. Contrast the behavior of @Yamiche with that of @Acosta . It can be done. A reporter can hold him accountable without disrespecting the presidency.

No. They stood by as he berated April Ryan and called Yamiche Alcindor racist. REAL COLLEAGUES would have rose up in unified anger and condemnation.

You can’t just unilaterally stand and shout questions. Wait until you’re called upon. That’s how these formal news conferences work. No?

You can do much more than follow THEIR rules. If called on, repeat Acosta's question, call out the admin for not having answered it. If not called on and another reporter is bullied, STAND UP FOR THEM AND DEMAND THEY NOT BE ATTACKED.

In a fascist regime, sure. But that's kind of the point, what we have here is a fascist regime angry that the press is pointing out reality. We as Americans CANNOT tolerate these lies coming from the White House.

All media should be convering the fact that the White House posted a doctored video of the Acosta incident. Trump has taken a page out of Putin's playbook here. Next stop? State-run media.

The American people are sick of a criminal President who lies with every breath of his being & a Press Secretary he sends out to clean up his mess &now lies as much. Wake up TRump cult. The similarities to Nixon’s downfall are striking but 45 is taking it to the next level.
