"Cut the crap and answer the question," should be the response from every reporter to Dementia Donnie's provocations. President or not, he is not a credible source worthy of any respect. He should be treated as the failed real estate con artist and game show host that he is.

The entire point is to ask questions, not lecture. All
@Acosta does is bloviate. But you guys desperately need the attention and ratings so you should be thanking@realDonaldTrump rather than being angry at him. -

Brian, you play into Trump’s anti-media propaganda by framing your remark by personalizing “love or hate
@Acosta.” Love or hate his questions—never the man. Trump *wants* ppl to see critical press as personal attacks. I wouldn’t give “hate [reporter]” any oxygen or use that word.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

He's the only reporter with any balls. Others should follow suit.

How about saying instead, we the media refuse to be complicit in capitulating to the WH authoritarian strategy of anti-media propaganda, and so we will refrain from covering a WH that has zero interest in honest public communication? Ignore Trump, only then will he come begging.

I honestly don't understand anyone who defends the WH on this one. Unless they don't believe video evidence. Oh but God exists.
-
they defend the WH on CNN's air...
-
Who was defending the WH on there? Sorry, wasn't watching earlier.

So if I grabbed your gun like that lady grabbed that mic it would be fine, right?
-
It’s not his mic tho
-
So it's fine if someone gets grabby with you if they want something you're holding, invade your personal space, as long as you don't "own" it? Got it.
-
If it’s theirs. And if you’re an insufferable jerk like Acosta is who asked his question and wasn’t his turn anymore and asked to surrender the mic. I swear it was like he’s in kindergarten and was interrupting class. If he was my kid he’d be getting disciplined

We live under authoritarian ruler and have to abide by the new rules where the ruler is above the law and no one can challenge the ruler. This is the new USA where all the media except FOX is the enemy of the people. Sad situation but one that is accepted by the republicans.

@realDonaldTrump is cracking
-
Yes, he is. I watched the whole thing on tv. As soon as reporters started asking questions, Trump became visibly stressed; clenched jaw and fists, and became increasingly incoherent. Then he devolved into ranting personal insults at Acosta. Unhinged (Omarosa nailed it).

between the Press, losing the House and Mueller closing in on Don Jr - not his finest week

The Senate was the prize last night and the Democrats got swept up in a Senatorial Red Wave
-
