To be clear, Fox News and MSNBC each sold airtime to the Trump campaign & ran the racist ad repeatedly before backtracking today.http://www.cnn.com/2018/11/05/media/nbc-trump-immigration-ad/index.html …

An NBC source says the ad was cleared by the broadcast network's standards and practices team. "We regret the decision that the ad ran at all, & it will not air on any NBCUniversal property, locally or nationally."http://www.cnn.com/2018/11/05/media/nbc-trump-immigration-ad/index.html …

Damage done. The racist ad ran during Sunday’s huge football program. Not sure, but in the eyes of viewers, ads might be construed as “endorsed” by the networks on which they run, especially during highly visible programming.

“We regret the decision...” after it aired HOW many times?!? I’m glad they came to their senses and apologized but the damage is done. It should have never aired. Just curious, .@nbc - what *specific* changes have you made to your standards and practices as a result?

The ad is not only blatantly racist, but it’s essentially false too. What kind of standards does @nbc have anyway? cc: @NBCNews @msnbc @maddow

The ad is 100% true. They were illegals & it DID happen. So I don’t think it’s offensive. What I DO think is offensive is how the Dem Senators lied and pushed false info to try & destroy Brett K & their call to harass Repub Senators.

Everything is racist. It is now required that babies first word is "racist." Mom, and dad are allowed to be either 2nd or 3rd.
