Oh @brianstelter. You are so blinded by your own self-righteousness that you can’t see how guilty you are of the very things you say you hate.https://twitter.com/Mediaite/status/1057242238055526400 …

Keep searching. When you do, you may find that you have no place to blame Fox for “dividing the country” when your show is mostly a series of sanctimonious, hyperbolic monologues about how immoral the other side is.
you must have never watched my program. here are the transcripts so your followers can read the truth. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/rs.html …
I don’t disagree with everything you say—much of your criticism is fair. But I think pointing fingers at another network for dividing the country, when your network could, from many people’s perspective, be accused of the same thing, is arrogant and unhelpful.
There’s nothing like the repeated caravan-fear-mongering-Soros-conspiracies on CNN. Only @foxnews , again and again.
@CNN vs. @FoxNews have opposite political perspectives&therefore are going to use fear-mongering for different issues. That's pretty obvious to most reasonable people. @cnn uses fear-mongering to demonize @realDonaldTrump everyday. Perhaps they could address that in next segment.
Can you give me examples of CNN fear mongering? I don’t think it’s comparable, but I could be wrong...
I’ve got one for you “Trump is worse than isis”
Source? (Link)
Yawn. If this were true you would cover current events differently. You hate Trump and it colors all you do. Everyone can see it except you. #Sad
It’s blatant.
Distance does not change their goal, does it?
Asylum? A better life for their kids? Safety from raging violence in their home countries? Nope. That won't change. Had to be pretty bad to make this trek. You might do the same if your family was in the same situation. If you're lucky you'll never have to face such tough odds.
If it is Asylum why did they turn down Mexico? Political Asylum is for the first country you come to.
Example....if someone is chasing you on the street and your scared, wouldn’t you run to the first house you see? Or do you skip immediate help to keep running somewhere else?
Except nobody is chasing them. If they really wanted asylum, they would seek it in Mexico, but asylum is not what they want.
I was just trying to make a comparison to credible fear/asylum which supposedly they are seeking. I would think they would seek refuge as soon as possible and not keep going. Sorry if my initial tweet wasn’t clear!
Completely agree. If they are truly looking for a safe haven, they would do so in Mexico, but they aren't. Sadly, I don't think they will be happy with the reception they receive.
Mostly men in their 20-30(from videos and pictures) marching toward our border waving another country's flag is an invasion force. They have already been offered asylum in Mexico so don't tell me that all they want.
Your network constantly parades on hosts and guests to label Trump and anyone who may support him with careful words like bigots, racists, sexists, traitors, rapists, and Nazis. Are those are peaceful words of unity? Sound like divise words to stir hate. Your hypocrisy is comical
Not to mention people like me who carry a gun for protection (with good reason) being told we kill children and have the blood on our hands of every person who died from being shot, and that I-not the actual shooter-am personally responsible for all "gun violence" in the US.
