Safe to assume everything Trump says between now and election day will be a lie. Trump doesn’t exaggerate, he just makes up an alternate reality, which he then repeats endlessly. As does his enablers in the conservative media and his enablers in Congress. #NotMyPresident

Of you didn’t like it then, do you approve of it now? Children are still locked up. We need to make it stop.

This is the perfect example of the media trying to distorte the msg. The president was say we can't let evil dictate our lives. But Stelter just tries to divide America While Trump is a builder and a uniter
-
Trump is in no way a uniter. He has never tried to be a President to the whole country. It's always been about bragging that he won, bashing democrats and any GOPer that doesn't blindly support him. He wants his base to hate everyone else.

Now do Obama. Start with “if you like your doctor..”
-
Obama's no longer President, the media covered all that quite well, and it was about 10 years ago. Otherwise, great point.
-
Here’s one they won’t cover. Won’t even get a fact check.pic.twitter.com/pNTpK4nylQ

Obama was heavily criticized from the Left for his immigration policies, Trump is taking this policy much much further, I have no idea if that photograph is what it claims to be, and Obama isn't president. Other than that, great point.
-
So since Obama isn’t the President now, but is actively campaigning, the media should continue to ignore his alternative facts? They ignored them for 8 years, I guess it’s foolish to think they’d fact check a blatant lie now.
-
I didn't like Obama's immigration policies much, but Trump's policies are *far* worse, and he's the one in control of them now. I guess you care more about scoring political points than children being locked in cages and being separated from their families.
-
-
So you're for the policy? Gotcha.

These rallies are essentially campaign rallies for Trump and the GOP. They are not press conferences or in any way presidential.
