Like Brian says, you can either make it hotter or cooler. If both the MSM & politicians keep this in mind, tone down the partisan rhetoric, we’ll have a more peaceful, unified society IMO. It’s a worthy goal to strive for in light of these tragedies, it also honors the dead.

I do wish @cnn would do more reporting and less opining. I have cut back a lot on the time I spend watching your network because it’s all trump, all day long. There are many other stories to tell and issues to cover beyond this joke of a president.

My only reservation with CNN is that they at times bend too much to the "silliness" (Rick Santorum) and criticism of the right. But you're great most of the time. Certainly NEVER the "enemy" Trump portrays. Fox News makes no effort to report the news fairly, honestly.

No, it’s not both siderisms. Trump and his surrogates are stoking the hate and racism. Though cable at large does add to the division

Correct, problem is; there are 4 (CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC) networks that spend ALL day bashing our president and FOX is the only (except Shep Smith) network that provides any positive reporting on our president. AND THAT's A FACT!!!!!!

It has become that way for sure! I like @CNN but I will not watch the screaming matches with GOP surrogates like David Urban and Michael Caputo even on my favorites @360 and @jaketapper! I have to turn them off. Not civil.

It's just ridiculous trying to equate @FoxNews and its rabid dogs to @MSNBC ! So disingenuous. What's the equivalent of Sean Hannity, Ingram and Tucker Carlson on MSNBC? Is it Republicans like @NicolleDWallace or @JoeNBC ? Or is it @maddow and Brian Williams?🙄

Lewis and Tapper are about the only reliable sources of reason over at CNN. Take heed of their wisdom and balance and straight talk.
