Trump might as well have pulled the trigger himself with his nod to racists and lack of gun control...as he’s headed for another Nazi rally tonight.

You're a vile POS. His daughter and grandchildren are Jewish.

Which makes it even more shocking that he’s placating Nazis

So every single house of worship is supposed to have an armed guard with an
#AR? How insane is that?#GunViolencePrevention#DomesticTerrorism -
I don't think it's insane at all. I think that for any African-American house of worship in a predominantly MAGA state, to be unarmed in 2018, is really crazy. U have to defend yourself. The USA elected Trump. It's done and we can't stuff the toothpaste back into the tube.
-
I believe the point she was making is that places of worship shouldn't HAVE to be armed. Everyone should have the right and expectation to worship in piece.
-
I get you, Dave. I was being a literalist, but I appreciate the sentiment. Indeed, it is not simply "insane," but tragic that we aren't able to live up to a higher set of ideals.
-
Quite tragic indeed. Maybe we'll get there one day. Though it doesn't look like soon.

Why do we even bother asking for thoughtful, appropriate comments from that amoral toddler? Honestly, we’re better off getting factual info from the FBI, comfort from our families & clergy, and more wisdom from pretty much any random mammal.
-
"Amoral toddler" is apt DJT description. I've met a lot of toddlers who behave better.

Wait , can you explain the difference then? What would have been different about the situation if we take “stopping him” out as an option. What else is he implying happens?
-
Maybe there would have been a lower number of casualties. Risk containment does not guarantee risk elimination.
-
Brian ain't too bright, so I understand it might not occur to him that responding officers are... responding, following danger into the scenario at tactical disadvantage, whereas a guard present is already an obstacle to an attack.
-
This is always lost on the gun-control advocates. They are blinded by their zeal to opportunistically exploit any tragedy with a half-assed argument.
-
I get that guards might be an obstacle, may make a perp pause or be able to take them out, but it doesn’t make the place safer. It hasn’t worked in banks? https://www.cna.com/web/wcm/connect/5c672c91-0bec-460b-aa90-558d37bef4c1/FI_ArmedGuards_WhitePaper_SR.pdf?MOD=AJPERES …
