It’s not the media’s job to be liked. It’s especially not the media’s job to be liked by people in power. And it’s triply not the media’s job to placate a president who routinely demands their silence, affirmation or, most recently, their physical assault.https://twitter.com/GrabienMedia/status/1056031597130997760 …

its not the President job to kiss the ass of
@CNN. Its not the American people's job to trust a news network like CNN - 1 more reply

"It's not the president's job to be liked. It's especially not the president's job to be liked by people in the media. And it's triply not the president's job to placate a media that routinely attacks him so excessively that 90% of its coverage of him is negative."
-
Because everything he does is negative
-
Great economy seems to be positive. Stronger military seems positive. Great SCOTUS picks seems positive. A lot of things Trump does seems positive except to those on the left.

Come on you know they prefer it when Kim Jung Un is firing rockets daily, veterans can't get an appointment for 6 weeks and drug prices keep seniors in poverty.

It’s also not the media’s job to push a certain ideology or be a mouthpiece for a party.

You seem to think it’s just fine when Fox News does it
@htmanning. Admit the truth: You want to bully people into agreeing with you, full stop. You like Trump because he’s a jerk like you. -
Typical.
@htmanning makes an entirely defensible assertion.@MikeChuk21 responds with a personal attack. That about sums up the vast majority of right vs. left debate.@secupp -
LOL — Fox News is where ideologically polarized news in this country got its start.https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-roger-ailes-polarized-tv-news/ …

He wants to be entitled to his opinions but doesn’t think anyone else should be entitled to express theirs. Sounds like a bully to me.
-
LOL, one cable news channel that sort of supports conservatives vs thirty other news channels that supports lib's doesn't make a person expressing an opinion a bully. It just means that person refuses to blindly follow the sheepfold that fake news is shepherding.

It would be really cool if you invited
@SharylAttkisson &@JamesRosenTV to comment on the treatment they experienced. -
Ms Cupp lies like it is her job. The president demands the media report the truth, and not sell false narratives specifically designed to take down his administration and help the party they prefer.
-
So a criminal tells you he's innocent and that the media is lying... and you believe him? Why? What reason do you have to believe it is CNN that is lying and not Trump?
-
Every minute of every day is spent framing the news of the day in a negative way to hurt this admin. The viewer is also shielded from the good things this administration has produced. Harvard University did a study and found over 93% of the coverage is negative.
-
Maybe instead of questioning why so much of CNN's coverage is negative, ask why so much of Fox's is positive. What is Fox sweeping under the rug? What are they hiding from their audience? What lies are they telling in order to make Trump look good?
-
48% of Fox's coverage was positive based on the Harvard study. I watch a stunning amount of political coverage across all media. I was a liberal Democrat my entire voting life until I caught on to the manner in which the majority of the media manipulates the viewer.
-
This isn’t a good faith argument. At all. You think anything is biased against him, even though it isn’t. Take their separation policy. The admin clearly announce it, execute it, and you complain that “Obama did it too” and harp on the negative coverage. BS
-
Obama did do it too, until he decided putting America 1st wasn't his priority anymore and he looked the other way.
