One of my 2016 media coverage regrets: I never went to a Trump rally. So this fall I planned on attending one. In this thread, I'll share some of my observations from Charlottepic.twitter.com/3fVQTKJUiq

Here's what the rally looked like from the press pen, in case you're curiouspic.twitter.com/2jHRyZY4wE
Wow, could CNN be more depressed? Saw some of the coverage. Nothing fake news or Democrats can say or do that will turn a single person against President Trump. The more YOU keep with your negative coverage, the MORE people support Trump. Get a clue. Americans love Trump!
They love you in attendance at his rallies because you are playing a part in his act; a part in the cult's indoctrination. Does that give you any pause about continuing to cover him in a way that keeps you in that status?
I get your point but to pretend CNN has any other choice seems silly to me
Do you recall when every political rally Barack Obama held was carried live? Every Hillary Clinton rally? No? Oh yeah, that's because their rallies were rarely ever covered live; and if some portion was, it was not covered in full live. @cnn has a choice.
Seems like it's pro wrestling to them, an act.
That's exactly what it is to them. It's all a joke, until it's not.
I can't - it's just not funny.
What do you conclude from that? And, why is that nugget important to the American viewer/reader? In the end, they are there, they are participating in his demagogic act, and coarsening civil discourse.
And inciting violence to the impressionable mind (either knowingly or not). It needs to stop. Trump is incapable of changing
That guy has a sticker on his back truck window with the same figure pissing on a FORD, don’t tell, he is driving a FORD
Gaslighting. Call it out and do your job
It's not acceptable to abuse those you love.
They don't seem to get that it's not funny, or cute or a game. They're emotionally and intellectually stuck in a middle school mentality. (Apologies to middle schoolers).
Says the people who’ve been in a temper tantrum for two years screaming on the floor about how he’s not your president.
