Security staffs at other newsrooms are monitoring the situation at Time Warner Center. So far, there's no indication of other suspicious packages at any other offices.

I'm in the same building as the AP in DC. Until this administration, I'd never been concerned about that before. Now, every time someone targets a news organization, I get worried.

Please let your anchors and reporters know the bomb squad's goal is not to "detonate" the device. They may disrupt and try to break apart the components but for both safety and protection of evidence they don't want it to explode, though it could happen during disruption.

Watching @CNN anchors reporting from the sidewalk outside Time Warner Center in NYC. Not sure standing outside in a crowd is the safest place for them in this situation.

Sniff sniff the Soros, #Obama, #Clinton, #CNN explosive devices smell like a #FalseFlag attempt at making them victims in an #OctoberSurprise. Just the sort of tactic an #Alinsky follower might try. Remember #BillAyers? Though whoever did it should be prosecuted fully.

Words have consequences. Amazed more isn’t made of Trump’s attacks on journalists (and Democrats). He is inciting and ‘normalising’ this behaviour....

Any reports on the package sent to the White House? Is it legitimate or just a random package identified as suspicious to balance off the perception of who this terrorist is targeting?
