What timing: NBC News chair Andy Lack is holding a town hall with staffers later this morning. It was scheduled long in advance of this latest Megyn Kelly controversy.

...was white, according to Megyn Kelly.

What did
@NBC expect when they hired her ditched Tamron Hall in the process? I think they bet they'd entice the Fox viewers. -
They knew what they were doing.....

Let's face it. She has her career because she says stuff like this and has the whole blonde babe thing going. Think of how many more qualified journalists there are - men or women - who have more knowledge, skills, propriety, probity, objectivity, tact and taste.
@NBCNews mistake -
It also helped that she was the paramour of brit hume while at Fox. It was how she made it to the leg chair and on to the eventual leg desk.

Leg chair

-
It is an actual term...kimbo, junior's squeeze, talks about her shoes (and lies, imelda had more shoes) and the LEG chair. https://www.msn.com/en-nz/news/politics/kimberly-guilfoyle-invites-us-into-her-closet-watch/vp-AAuk9PO …

I don’t think I can click on that. I’ll just trust your take.

You can take Megyn Kelly out of Fox News, but you can’t take Fox News out of Megyn Kelly.
-
Well put, and that’s the exact problem. People are generally known by the company they keep/kept.

Why did NBC put such unpleasantness on in the middle of their morning block? It’s like interrupting a yoga session with a regularly scheduled blood sacrifice.
-
Why is it unpleasant? Doesn’t affect you, so you don’t care?
-
I meant Megyn, bballmom. Extremely glad Al Roker and Craig Melvin spoke up. Megyn's comment was consistent with things she's said in the past, none of which are mistakes or errors. She should go away.
-
Thanks for clearing this up

Sometimes people, even very well paid, well-managed, very intelligent ones, can't help but let you know what they're really like. Megyn Kelly has a habit of doing that, and her stupid "I'm not a PC person" apology just cemented that.
-
PC is RW code for rules of social civility. It's amazing how quick the RW is to break social norms, and equally amazing how quick they are to accuse their opponents of "lack of civility". Basically, the RW is incapable of dealing honesty with others.
-
Normal people value other things like justice, liberty, knowledge. The right's only value is power, it only seeks to dominate. It can never be engaged on mutually beneficial terms.
-
Excellent points. RW bullies take advantage of anyone weaker, their leaders take advantage of them. Like the "they-didn't-build-it" thing. They want to take advantage of the infrastructures the rest of us pay for with our taxes but they don't want to pay any taxes. Free loaders.
