I didn't say the distance was the "central issue." I just said that when we show the videos or talk about the caravan, we should also show a map. Because some people have been misinformed about the location.

But when you say the location should be "front and center," you're implying that somehow where the caravan is is really important. From an analytical perspective, it's really not.

But the wise crowds are screaming wise things like 'they're timing this so they can cross the border to vote in the midterms!' and a simple map puts that and other absurd conspiracy theories to bed. The more people know the less they can be lied to.

In theory, this is true but if someone is already in a frame of mind that “Democrats are very publicly bringing a caravan of people across the border to vote illegally” is plausible then I don’t know how much a map is going to help

Yeah, the idea that conspiracy theorists can have their minds changed with facts presented by the national media doesn't exactly have a great track record

You might also discuss whether Trump’s conspiracy theory that Soros is paying the immigrants to migrate to U.S. makes any sense, bc it doesn’t. However, it does make sense for a Republican operative to do so or at least enable it. PR is being used against Dems to help Repugs.

How about instead you highlight the treacherous distances other human beings are forced to traverse because they have no other options if they want to try to live because the US government destabilized their homes? Jackass

"misinformed about location' means distance. And since you want a map *because* of that, you're making the current distance the central issue.

I feel like the location of the caravan is pretty insignificant compared to other things people have been misinformed about re the caravan.
