If your news coverage of the caravan doesn't include a map like this, front and center, you're doing it wrong...pic.twitter.com/s026JJYoov

Here's a thought: don't cover it. Voters care about health care. Cover that. Have you guys literally learned NOTHING from the 2016 election?

Health care does receive news coverage. It should receive more. Re: voter concerns, immigration ranks right up near health care. And IMHO, a march of thousands of people demanding better health care would be a big story.https://www.vox.com/2018/6/20/17485162/pew-research-center-poll-immigration-issue-2018-midterms …

It would. But that's not what's happening. What's happening is Trump is trying to create a fake "crisis" by treating people marching away from war as some kind of brown-skinned attacking horde in order to rile up his base for votes By saturating the story, you are HELPING him.

Just don't cover it. There are plenty of other stories. This is fabricated hysteria and blatant lies from the President.

Then we would know how implicit American big businesses are in the unrest & criminal activity in these countries. We may find out that these same companies own these media organizations that feed us a steady diet of selected bull As always follow the money

I understand the intent of the map was to show how the GOP has been overblowing the immediate threat of the caravan. I feel that letting Trump and the GOP dictate media coverage is not the best strategy.

Always good to report nuanced details — though surely you know the core issue is not fact-checking its “proximity” to the US, but rather determining how important the story is within a partisan effort to hype it. 🐰

I'm disturbed that @MSNBC is devoting so much time to this story and helping Trump narrative.
