Ever since Jamal Khashoggi vanished on 10/2, the @WashingtonPost has put its full weight behind the case. A multi-pronged approach — that other news outlets will hopefully never have to use...http://www.cnn.com/2018/10/20/media/khashoggi-washington-post-response/index.html …

Other news outlets would be wise to put their weight behind this case as well. The world deserves answers, real ones.

And why is it Khashoggi had to go to the Turkish Consulate to get his paperwork instead of a Consulate or Embassy in the US? Was it because of his fiancée or something more sinister? Just an interesting question.

Boy, I wish the media had been this curious about the 4 Americans that died in Benghazi. This guy wasn't even a citizen and it happened on foreign soil. Hey I know get the UN involved, that will solve the problem.

Also remember 911? 15 Saudis were linked to that attack. Im sure you didn't turn a blind eye then.

A blind eye? Who in the right mind trusts the Saudis? They fund radical madrassas all over the world. If it wasn't for oil, they would still be living in the 19th century. We should have put sanctions on them years ago.

Im glad you feel that way. The saudis should be held accountable. If i murdered someone i would be. If you murdered someone you would be. The saudis should also be. Their money should not bail them out of this.

But you have to have the political leaders to do it. It wasn't Reagan or the Bushes or Clinton or Obama. I dont believe Trump has the guts to do it either, because of all the military contracts and of course they could cause oil prices to spike leading to a economic slowdown.

Agreed, so that is why their is such an outcry. It is an effort to be heard so that there can be some sort of justice. No one should be able to muder with impunity. Money and connection should not absolve guilt.

My problem is the double standard of the press. This has been a non stop story for 2 weeks, why? This is a foriegn national killed in a foreign country? We still dont know where Obama was the night Benghazi happened. The press didn't care.

I think our hearts hurt when things happen and we want to assign blame. Where was Trump when 4 soldiers were ambushed this time last year? Bad shit happens and we can't always find the villains. In this case we can.

@washingtonpost and any other reputable news outlet interested in truth, better go hard at this administration and turn every rock possible to bring them to justice.
