Note Gianforte is a fundamentalist Christian. We need to be paying attention to this and media need to stop acting as if this is benign: Dave Daubenmire says America needs "a more violent Christianity" and cites Trump & Gianforte as examples to follow.http://www.rightwingwatch.org/post/dave-daubenmire-america-needs-a-more-violent-christianity/ …

So now Republicans can be a violent mob when asked questions? That's the trouble with Trump to him politics is just a scam with spin people never meant anything to him. Ask Trump contractors that were never paid what they think of Trump's vision of the middle class is.

Gianforte pleaded guilty. He’s hardly someone to be praised. Had to attend anger management classes.https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/happened-republican-greg-gianforte-body-slammed-reporter/story?id=58610691 …

It would also be nice, Brian, if someone would point out to Trump that "tough cookies" don't do their macho posturing behind a wall of armed Secret Service agents. Context matters here.
-
I'm on your side, but he didn't have SS agents in tow in my town, the night before the election when he did this. If contexts matters.
-
Sorry, my syntax was unclear - I was talking about Tough Guy Trump. Gianforte, of course, is a tough guy who assaults people then lies about it to law enforcement until he realises there is documentary evidence AND eye witnesses. How butch... *contemptuous eye-roll*

**Scratches head** Constitutionally protected, peaceful protests by sexual assault survivors are a "mob", but Trump approves of attacking a reporter at a time when an American reporter was violently murdered and dismembered by a foreign govt? His moral compass is clearly broken

I think the problem is he’s not tough, sticks and stones, etc.....if you can’t handle questions, find another profession.

Gianforte wasn't a tough cookie but a criminal. Most laws won't permit deadly-force self defense, but reasonable force (pepper spray)? Yes. On the borderline of felony assault. If there had been broken bones. Potus displays his ignorance of the laws.
-
I don’t think it’s ignorance. I think he believes certain people are above the law — himself included.
-
He thinks he answers to no one. And that is dangerous.

Yeah, this is what tends to happen when you elect a clown to the highest office in the land, he behaves exactly as you would expect him to; like the clown he is and always has been, why don't folk get this?
-
The people who elected him do, and they like it
