Agree or disagree with her endorsement, she makes a reasoned argument and worthwhile use of her platform.
-
Yes, we need to look candidates for what they really are. Blackburn is not a good person

Love her or hate her, she has a LOT of fans. Young ones that she might have influence over. She can encourage them to vote. We need their votes.
-
She has lost the country crowds and most of her fans are to young to vote.
-
I work with at least 10 women who love her. They are in their early 20's. Taylor hooked them a long time ago. She has a lot of voting age fans.
-
And I know many who do not care for her since she left country which were actual voters who vote each election. Average age is 13-16. And guess who buys their tickets.

As a resident of Tennessee I agree....All of Marsha Blackburn ads are hateful.... Its like tell me what you can do for me and keep so called "crooked Hilary" She won't even visit Memphis which is the most populated city in Tennessee. But also has the largest black population
-
Oh... You're from Memphis. So misogynist Steve Cohen is your representative. Got it. Keep voting for those failed Democrat policies and nothing will ever get better for Memphis.
-
Memphis is on the rise..... I've lived her four years and have some changes for the good.... Of course there is a lot more to be done... However opportunities are growing in Memphis.....Marsha should come and see but she won't....
-
The reason that she won't is because just before the last planned debate Steve Cohen said at a Prayer Breakfast that he wished she'd commit suicide. Phil Bredesen thanked him for those kind remarks and then took the podium.
-
What does that have to do with the people of memphis?

Takes a lot of courage to do the opposite of what Nashville expects & then speak about it publically. Regardless of her celebrity she is a person a voter who has every right to vote for whom ever she wants.
-
She isn't the first Nashville country/rock star to support Dems. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw before her, but also 1,300 members of an organization called Music Row Democrats. Safety in numbers, I guess.

She has as much right as any American in this country to voice her opinion. I can not stand when the right says that actors/actresses/Hollywood has no right in voicing their views. They say this because most are democrats
-
They can "say" whatever they want. Thinking that THEY are important is the problem.
-
We are all important. You may not want to admit this but they do have influence.
