If you think it's bad in here try going out tonight canvass. The doors I knocked on today had an angery woman behind most of them. Not only did I register 25 new voters I got them to call their friends out of state to help them register.

Best thing all day. Thanks!
-
LoL, thanks but confronting that much anger was stress inducing.

-
What I don't understand is...if they're so angry, why do they wait for someone to come knock on their door to register to vote? Why not just ask Google ("how do I register to vote")and then go do it yourself?
-
There are many reason but most often getting beaten down repeatedly by life takes the wind out of your sails. Sometimes all it takes is someone presenting a solution. Not everyone is as self actualised as you are and they need to know they are not alone in their feelings.

I'd never heard that phrase before, thanks for it. Many voters think their are alone in their views. Sometimes a knock on the door can let them know they aren't.

A lot of folks tune in to programs that they philosophically disagree with for entertainment!
-
I seriously doubt anyone (unless they're a comedian) watches Fox "news" that disagrees with their propoganda. But those uneducated ignorant poor souls that do tune in do so because they are compelled to do so to continue ignoring real world common sense
-
What does FOX News have to do with CNN's inability to attract viewers? I'm not seeing the real world common sense connection.
-
Fox is the ONLY TV network that xenophobists, and anti-science, anti-common sense people can turn to that will prop up and fuel their beliefs. Of course it's going to be #1, there is a dilution of the more common people that believe science & other facts
-
Anti-science? I was told that Fox News hosts tend to confirm that a person with male DNA (in every cell of his body) can't become a woman and that unborn human babies are actually human beings. Did someone lie to me?

Love this Doc

You are too kind.
