What media is Andrew Sullivan talking about? He says "the Democrats, and I have to say the mainstream media, made this not about Brett Kavanaugh, but about all white men. How all white men are essentially wannabe rapists. How all white men are the problem..."https://twitter.com/jenist/status/1048547035476099072 …

I think the old white men people are referring to are the men on the judiciary committee ... completely different than generalizing ALL white men.. the tRump came close with his comment about young men going to have a hard time.. he was referring to ALL young men on some level
-
People are NOT going to make the differentiation
-
Agree in part.. women are raging.. and even though the MSM says the Rs are motivated.. there are less Rs than Independents and Ds combined.. the MSM and Rs keep giving inflated numbers.. we shall see..
-
All women are not raging. Check out the recent polls. Women on my side are tired of this shit & we're going to stand up for our fathers, sons & brothers.
-
Behind every teen accused of committing sexual assault, or every man accused of harassing women in the workplace is a woman who insists her son's/husband's sh*t don't smell.
-
Agree, and they do I disservice to themselves for not keeping an open mind or having empathy for any one who is truly a victim.. the percentage of false accusations is small and time will tell if someone is falsely accusing another...

This is the problem every time. The Republicans push a constant victimization narrative no matter how much they win and control everything in government. It fuels the entire party. The media responds by catering to that, reinforcing and validating their delusions
-
On top of that, they also have a huge RW media echo chamber and they expect the rest of the media to cater to them. It will never end. The constant “both sides” approach at media networks like
@cnn ensbles this. The better approach is to only search for truth and facts

“this is elite privilege filtered through America's rape culture.” Nowhere in the article does it say all white males are wannabe rapists. Maybe reading comprehension is the real problem here?

Why are you legitimizing a propagandist from the daily caller with a response?
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

My point is that that might not be true of all media. Sure. But it elevates a rather nasty portion of the debate. Drowns out whatever valid points the Dems might have. Prolly wanna fix that

You’re conflating white male privilege and rape culture as if they’re synonymous. These articles are explaining how rape culture is perpetuated by white male privilege.
-
So the two are related? Were you trying to support his point?
-
Of course they’re related. And that definitely wasn’t his point, lol. Nice try, though.

-
White male privilege leads to rape culture.... But no one is saying that white males are rapists..... mmk, i wonder if that actually makes sense inside your head or if youre being intentionally misleading
-
See, again, I know reading is hard but that’s not what is being argued. White privilege does not “lead” to rape culture. White male privilege helps to sustain and entrench this culture in our society. It’s really not that complicated.
-
Reading is hard, comprehension is more harder. You:Muhh white male privilege perpetuates rape culture Also you: no dummy, no one is saying that white male privilege cause rape culture.
