This footage isn’t even showing the true masses of people who stampeded their way through to exit

This footage doesn't do it justice. The commentators don't understand what happened. 30,000 people ran for their lives. It didn't calm down quickly.

This is why we’re fighting gun violence so hard. Because after living this terror, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. My thoughts are with everyone who had to go through this tonight. Gun violence is a cancer we must eradicate.
-
Barricade falls and people flee. Left: Stop Gun Violence! Smh Truthfully, I hope no one was hurt.
-
*entire country is on edge because people get gunned down everywhere* Right: STOP BEING SO TRIGGERED! EVERYONE BUY A GUN! THIS MESSAGE BROUGHT TO YOU BY SMITH & WESSON! My point stands. We could lots to alleviate the anxiety in this country. Have a good night.

Law abiding citizens are not a threat with guns, knives, cars, trucks, airplanes, attack dogs, straws (etc.) and criminals don’t care about our laws. I worry more about someone who thinks people don’t have a right to defend against those who prey on the defenseless.
-
No one has said anything about taking away someone’s right to defend themselves. No one credible has suggested removing the Second Amendment. The phony fear mongering is so tired in 2018. “Criminals will commit crimes” is the worst reasoning for anarchy I can think of.
-
You and I aren’t going to solve anything here on Twitter. I have a great deal of empathy for what you’ve been through but we will have to agree to disagree since I think it’s a people problem, not a gun problem or something that our government can fix. Have a good evening.

Brian, I’m still angry at the organizers’ description of the full blown panic at the
#GlobalCitizen
festival as a “small incident”. Disrespectful of the psychological impact of what felt like a terrorist attack. People were crying and getting injured.Felt just like Nice, FRThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

When NYPD and GC workers told us to duck and cover and hide. That is scary. Thank god it wasn’t a shooter. But the terror I saw and the fear I saw in others will never leave my mind. Scary shit.

I don't know why this isn't being reported, we were up closer to the stage than this video shows.

The
#msm is down playing the magnitude of what happened

One of the scariest moments I’ve experienced. No one knew what was going on.

When you have a Global citizen concert to oppose walls and the fence you built to keep illegals out collapses. The irony is so thick right now.

Same thing happened to us. It was ridiculous and we need to demand our money back. It was terrible.

I bruise my foot after falling. I am going to call
@Citi@Ticketmaster@GlblCtzn because it wasn’t a small incident. It was a horrible experience.
