    1. I’m just going to add to the completely anecdotal discussion of whether ranks are closing around Kav. First, to be clear, I don’t have any idea what this means for voters or the midterms or whatever. And I don’t care. I’m just offering an observation with no larger lesson.

Again, if they’re so concerned about unproven allegations, they should join the Democrats in calling for an FBI investigation and a full hearing of the evidence gathered.

A person is being accused of being a serial rapist WITHOUT EVIDENCE, and liberals are just going along with it. It’s stomach churning. What happened to Merrick Garland sucked, but it does not warrant this kind of retribution.

People who are willing to look past these serious allegations aren’t mild mannered. Mild mannered people would be interested in an investigation and facts. Mild mannered people wouldn’t shove a Supreme Court appointment down a country’s throat.

Or, the people Mandel describes are our family members, friends, associates. With all due respect, Susan, you have virtually no idea who any one journalist knows or associates with outside work. There's a way to respond to ideas without insults. I invite you to try it.

Wasn't insulting journalists, Kyle, just infuriated at being stereotyped. With all due respect (because you always respond with respect) there are many women who are disgusted by media conduct in this situation. So, let's be clear, there are lots of us who are discounted by media

And when, media says women are disgusted etc- they are not looking at ALL women. So, yeah, anecdotally, seems tipped one way.

Many women have stories like this buried in their own pasts. I don't know *how* many, but many more than you or I would imagine. So you need to tread carefully. Also, Merrick Garland. Those 2 factors explain most of the vehemence on the progressive side, I think.

Of course! But you also have those who want to get back at some one for a perceived slight and what is the best way to get back? Say you have been assaulted! Character assassination is the best weapon no one recovers from that! As a woman I don't want innocent men railroaded
