Does Flake intend to do anything other than grandstand and spout meaningless cliches?

Exactly. If you listen to the dilemma he states in his speech, there is a clear answer. A full FBI investigation.

With statement that Sen Flake is currently making, it sounds like he is leaning "No." Withdrawing nomination might be the lesser of two bad outcomes for the GOP. Doubtful another nominee (short of Merrick Garland himself) makes it through the process pre-election.

well say so then enuf speeches

Sen Flake has to listen to their testimony, as he said, but if I'm the GOP, I heard loud and clear that he is going to do the right thing no matter the politics. Not what they want to hear...

So the new victim Julie Swetnick, 55 years old, graduated 1980, probably in college by then, was attending high school parties were there were gang rapes? And she the adult in the room didn't report the rapes to anyone. And she continued to attend high school parties?

Great statement. Too bad he’s leaving. It should be McConnell, Grasley, Hatch and Graham that leave. They’ve lost all ethical standards, common sense and spines.
-
He’s only making speeches like this because he IS leaving.

Fake actually said he owes Kavanaugh an apology? This monster now has 4 allegations of drunken sexual assault, and there’s undoubtedly more. He also perjured himself 5 times during his confirmation hearing, and he’s still prepared to confirm him. No Jeff. You owe us an apology.
-
The perjury during his testimony is disqualifying. It’s crazy that a judge seeking the highest court would resort to lying.

Does Kavanaugh know how close the beer keg is?

Good belly laugh just now. Thank you.

If he actually cared about the integrity of the process, he’d call for an investigation, but instead he’ll get swooning praise without actually doing anything.
-
He’s actually saying he doesn’t believe the accusers.
-
Well he needs to realize that none of the country's educated believe the
@gop -
I’ll guarantee I am smarter and have more degrees than 99.99% of liberals. I’m a proud Republican. I believe this is a 100% smear campaign.

Your guarantees are meaningless, as is your opinion in general. Anyone still supporting the
@GOP is either a racist, a mysoginist, part of the 1%, or a sucker. -
Then call me a 1%. Take a look around. People are mad. I’m normally surrounded by diverse opinions, but most now don’t believe the accusers
-
Then you must be watching Fox and only Fox. The rest of the country thinks it is likely and needs to be investigated. Innocent people want their names cleared, the guilty try to stop the investigation. Do the math...
-
Innocent until proven guilty & there’s literally nothing to investigate but vague accusations. Put an end to this charade and confirm him.
