Don’t know what’s worse. The Weather Channel’s dude for faking that live report, or CNN’s dude for this “in his defense” tweet...

Sorry, I don't share statements that are flat out lies. You don't get that luxury on my platforms. You know I have mad respect for you, but come on... Mike got busted being fake and we both know viewers lump us all into one category. Let's hold each other accountable.

so you know it was a flat out lie?

I like some of the president's tweets too. Does that make me biased?

No, publishing a company statement is PR 101. Journalism 101 is exploring and investigating the company statement, and reporting the truth. silly example of what goes on in the mainstream media. All too often when liberals are involved all you do is share the company statement

You defended Fake News. FOX to CNN, it's all Fake News. There are no straight honest journalists anymore. Your political biases ooze through your pores.

You are right Tom

So is being skeptical of regurgitating a ridiculous PR corporate statement without pointing out how absurd it is. Come on Brian I am a big fan of yours but we can all see the truth with our own eyes. Jesus.

You can't hide behind "I'm just doing my job." Your timeline is filled with clues of your bias. Things you retweet, stories you defend, all paint a picture of a childish, reactive person who consistently sides with a certain narrative. All fine, except when you pretend otherwise.
-
Your narrative is not one of unbiassed, journalistic integrity. If so, do you think reaction to you or CNN would be so harsh? It reeks of partisan bias. You "cheer" (retweet) opinions of "resistance" and often defend unsubstantiated opinion even when it's been proven false.
-
This is typical across the political spectrum. But to pretend you are towing the line of journalistic integirty is laughable considering your TV show, newsletter, and your Twitter feed. You claim to be something you are not. You just don't see it, but is obvious to everyone else.
-
You want to be known as a truth finder for the media, but you spend most of your time being critical of only one side of the story. If you were to lend even half as much criticism to your own narrative's flaws, we may not have ended up with a President Trump. Instead you march on

If that is journalism 101, you need a new book.

Nope, you are wrong on this one Brian. That reporter looked utterly stupid in trying to con the viewers.

He was blatantly faking his stance. The fact that you shared their statement without skepticism is the issue. A 5 year old could see he was faking.

I agree with Rusty. Sadly, journalism 101 is not a prerequisite to your consumer base. That just doesn’t fly in sales...your industry of choice.
