The Trump-led hate movement against the media "doesn't end when Trump leaves office," @brianklaas says. "How many of those people are going to discount truthful, accurate reporting, not just for the next two and a half YEARS but for the next two and a half DECADES?"pic.twitter.com/wcPbQx6QfG

Yes the damage is done. Time and education - we’re going to have to invest a ton on education to help a next generation better understand what makes this country great. The constitution and the principles behind that document. It requires study 📖

No way!! You’re going to recondition our minds to blindly follow the media! Love how liberals think Americans can’t think for themselves. 😂

Proof of what? Surely you don't need proof of CNN's penchant for passing off opinionated musings and rants as if it is credible news.

Brian, what percentage of the media hate blame lies on the media itself, in your opinion?

It isn't honest when CNN posts a sob story about the pregnant illegal alien and leave out that her husband had a murder warrant.

They reported the warrant later, when that news was released locally.

They ran that tweet for over 24 hours without it. I saw it, after I knew of the warrant. They finally fixed it after they were called out.

No it was not 24 hours. I had the tv on and was also reading it locally. The local article got updated to say he had a homcide warrant and a few hours later that showed on CNN. I wouldn’t depend on a Tweet for news.

I wouldn't depend on CNN for news. Every lw outlet on twitter left it out till people mocked them mercilessly.

Maybe if you stopped "reporting" on how many cokes the president drinks, race baiting, and pandering to confirmation bias people would trust you more.

1 I remember a story the late Christopher Hitchens told about flying in to New York to do an interview with CNN about the Afghan War I believe. When his plane landed, he saw that Anna Nicole Smith had died. The first thing he did was make reservations at his favorite restaurant.

2 And sure enough; as soon as he got done, a CNN producer called and said they were cancelling his spot because they were going with wall to wall coverage of Ms. Smith's death. The news media has had problems that predate Trump. Yes, he's horrible. But there's a lot of stuff
