I asked @BillDeBlasio: "Why do you feel it's your role to be calling out a newspaper because you don't like the content?" "Because I think it's not happening enough," he said. Here's the full interview http://cnnmon.ie/2MdYKub pic.twitter.com/BhTLRbKpMO

The mayor. makes a great point; it is like saying fast food chains are healthy for you. You have to call out the outlets that have a political agenda, and tell the consumer you can watch but don’t over do it.

Here's the thing, there really is no such thing as left or right. There's just people who do facts. And people who don't. And everybody EXCEPT Fox news and Murdoch Media, does facts. Your meme is not factual.

I thinkmedia outlets manufacture consent, to steal a line from Noam Chomsky, I am not saying CNN is perfect, but it is a lot better at providing a balanced content, even though they push a mainstream agenda. Fox News just gives you junk news, and focused on a conservative agenda

Fox News creates an alternative reality, and they make a caricature of an opposing view. They appeal to the emotion of their viewer, and this is dangerous.

I agree with you on Fox and didn't defend Fox except to say that advocating to remove one press organization simply because you don't like them is fascism - if you don't like them, don't watch them.

I understand your point, and agree. But when it comes to Murdoch, It's time something is done about him. The damage he has done to the UK, America and Australian politics and the psych of western civilization is almost irreparable and he just keeps pushing.

Why can’t CNN and Fox just be honest. They are both biased networks. Anyone with an average intelligence can see it. The fact that the two networks deny their bias is why they’re not respected....

So the left-wing press is being called on to launch a vicious attack on President Trump on Thursday to prove he doesn't love the lying, fake news, left-wing press. HOW IS THAT DIFFERENT FROM EVERY OTHER DAY?!!

Thank you for pointing out it's not just Trump that calls out news sources he doesn't agree with. But I do believe William meant people don't call out Fox news enough. Which is of course a joke and a lie.

You should get newspapers, I don’t know, maybe 100 newspapers, to write editorials against Bill Deblasio all on the same day. That would be something, wouldn’t it?
