You are soooo reluctant to use the word ‘racist’. The ‘politics of white anxiety’ is literally racism.https://twitter.com/brianstelter/status/1027858852954419205 …

On Fox's highest-rated shows, the politics of white anxiety play out practically every day, as hosts and guests warn about the impacts of immigration and minimize or mock the perspectives of POC. It's about appealing to people who perceive they are losing their grip on power... https://twitter.com/CNNBusiness/status/1027728761251422208 …

I have repeatedly used the word racist on television and in stories. You have a faulty impression of my work. I don't know why.

I folo your work closely. And I like it. But you write about racism around specific events—ie: lebron and trump. You don’t see rallies as an extension of that same long-standing racist strategy. You fail to see that racism undergirds almost everything the President does and says

2 the Trump from the start. That they hyped him up for ratings, down played the negativity of his supporters, that you always half-butt (trying not to curse) any criticism out of fear of losing viewers. This especially stings for us that saw Bernie basically get black balled out

The fact that you've said racist more than twice means squat coming from a dude who is on-line and / or on-air just about every day. Her point - which you haven't countered - is that you're reluctant to say "racist" even in cases where it's the most appropriate word available.

It's the difference between misdemeanors and felonies. White anxiety = petty theft. Racism = Grand larceny. White anxiety comes across as a meltdown while racism is ones way of acting or thinking subtle or not to oppress a group based on race.
