Trump as storyteller: His stories are more fiction than fact... but effective. His friends on Fox are like his co-producers. And he invites the audience to participate, too.http://money.cnn.com/2018/08/05/media/donald-trump-story-telling/index.html …

I would look at it more as him fanning the flames of racism, hatred of the other and distrust of institutions......but sure Brian
-
I convey all of that in my coverage. Many layers!
-
However most, like myself, will just see the tweet which makes it seem likr this lunatic actually knows what he's doing. I don't believe that he has a strategy beyond spewing hate.
-
Most will not "just see the tweet." A much greater number of people already heard me deliver this essay on TV. No offense to Twitter, but my audience here is smaller!
-
your points taken too :)

I'm so sick of hearing stories about Trump supporters, where the heck is your coverage of the people who are appalled & oppose him? There has been a
#KremlinAnnex protest going on at the WH for over 20 days now, where are your ground reporters and why are you not covering that? -
Remember us....We're the ones that actually support a free press and have been standing up & speaking out for all of you journalists while you have a President that calls you the enemy of the people...I think we deserve equal time don't you? Come on.

But to be clear, he's not telling a story. He's running a con. There is a very, very big difference.
-
But yes, he is running a very good con. At least on the rubes that are falling for it.
-
He's running a very bad con, but at this point the Limbaugh lobotomized base of the GOP would cheerfully eat rat poison if he told them to and, as they keeled over, blame Liberals for their fate with their dying breath.

Oh god Brian. Stop framing it like a game. No ones winning but the one percent. And lies and cons should never be framed as a winning thing

Brian you’re normalizing him with headlines like this......no credit is due. At. All.
-
Lying, it's called lying not storytelling. Storytelling generally has a basis in truth. What Combover Quisling does is lie, all the time, if his lips are moving he's lying!
