Trump is treating the presidency as if he is playing the role of a villain in the WWE. It’s about ratings and making everyone talk about him every day. #SadMAGA

Is there any penalty at all for ANY of it? There have GOT to be consequences for the lies, the corruption, the dismantling of norms, the utter disrespect for our institutions. I demand some ACCOUNTABILITY, dammit. Surely I'm not alone in this?

Yep, 100%. And, thus far, it has not mattered. He powers through the relatively weak response to his lies, it is forgotten, and cycles move on. As a PR flack, I honestly am learning some bad lessons about how powerful people who media "has" to cover can just lie, at will.

Partly, but say I work for a lowly Congressman. I cannot just have him lie nonstop and not pay a price with press. But Trump? If nothing else, he has taken to heart, "He's the president. We HAVE to report on everything he says and does," to successfully move news cycles past lies
