It is free speech.

The issue isn’t whether they’re allowed to print or sell the shirts. The issue is Newseum’s judgment. No one is suggesting the government should ban the shirts.

It's a fucking gift shop

At the Newseum. “The mission of the Newseum, located in Washington, D.C., is to increase public understanding of the importance of a free press and the First Amendment.”

It's A Gift Shop

According to sources they've been selling this stuff for over a year and no one found out about it until now. That's how highly you all regard this place.

pretty sure it’s free speech, brian
-
When I'm quoting from a group's statement, I use quote marks.
-
Then why not put quote marks around "championing"? Because you added the 'ing'? Don't know why it can't be the case that 1) They're "championing" free speech, and 2) they need the money, and these items sell well. Why is the second point "cynical"? Think about it.

I’m old enough to remember when Brian Stelter used the words “fake news” through December of 2016 blaming it for Hillary losing. Brian is awful.
-
Try to find a single quote of me "blaming it for Hillary losing." You can't, because I never did.
-
You certainly inferred it. I don’t have your massive ability to do past research but I was an avid watcher of you back then before you turned to full partisan. I know what I interpreted.

Proving once again how arrogant News people like you do not care about or understand America
-
They have degraded us, our values and lied repeatedly yet they expect us to respect them no thanks. Respect is a two way street. I don't expect the news to only report what I want to hear that's not their job either but they need to be honest, fact check and be responsibile
-
@true_pundit has been one of the few honest reliable sources for the past couple years. Maybe the rest need to pay attention stop chasing fake b.s. Russian collusion which they have been told repeatedly by FBI DoJ and Mueller there was no collusion. -
The journalist at one of the MSM outlets (the one that slept her way to classified Intel

) has the unredacted copy of the FISA report why did she not release It? Apparently it didn't fit their agenda which is exactly what is wrong with MSM they shouldn't have an agenda -
Wonder how many other outlet besides the NY Times have seen it. Have you
@brianstelter ? What have you kept from the American people because it didn't fit your agenda?
