The problem with your perspective is that you consider New York Daily actually local news. News and reporters are broadly not news anymore, they are propagandists. Nobody cares when propagandists go out of business, nobody except people in the same business....

Someone seems to be quite sensitive. Why is it CNN or the MSM can question the legitimacy of everyone else; but can't stand for anyone questioning theirs? Think of the church, how the MSM treats it. Give it a break!
-
Very good question! MSM feels they are above reproach.

You could be just a little less dramatic and block him.
-
Is that less dramatic though? Dan would just post a screenshot of that and probably call him a name or something.
-
Way less dramatic. Dude RT’d him asking him to unfollow, giving Dan’s wack view even more publicity.
-
It definitely elevated his platform unnecessarily. That's true. I think the best course of action may have been to just end after the word "conversation." Perhaps the intention was to inform others to do the same if that's how they feel.

Brian, your tweet is a perfect example with what is wrong today. If he doesn’t agree with your point of view, no conversation? That’s the problem with journalist. My way or the highway. JMHO

MRC, NewsBusters, and a few other far right wing "watchdogs" and orgs are run by Dan Gainor's boss, L. Brent Bozell, who said President Obama looks like a "skinny ghetto crackhead," in 2011. Really, who cares what Gainor and Bozell and their ilk think?

For the life of me I can’t understand why anybody would think that “fewer employed journalists” could ever be a good thing.

If NY Daily News stuck to local reporting they’d still be in business and I’d still pick up a copy at the newsstand. They chose to go full MSNBC on national politics and turned their front page into a left wing cartoon. They stopped being local years ago.

When you use the word “expertise “ in the same sentence with today’s journalist? No. There’s no conversation to be had here.
