NBC poll: 29% of registered voters STRONGLY approve of Trump. 44% STRONGLY disapprove. In between? Just 16% "somewhat" approve & 8% "somewhat" disapprovehttps://www.nbcnews.com/politics/first-read/nbc-wsj-poll-public-gives-trump-thumbs-down-russia-thumbs-n893266 …

I would like to know how the polling is taken. Who gets chosen to vote in a poll? It certainly wasn't me or anyone I know. If it matters (which it probably doesn't) I strongly disapprove of Trump. Period, end of story.

Supposedly they poll 30 people in each state for a total of 1500 people. There is a ÷/- of 3% accuracy. They for some strange reason believe this is an accurate representation of what all 300million Americans think. I don't trust the polls at all!

This shows a minute fraction of the actual population. If this is how they determine how people feel, then I really question the validity of polling. It also stinks that when these polls are announced, the public is not made aware of exactly how these numbers were derived.

It sounds much better if you say 80% of Democrats STRONGLY DISAPPROVE and 46% of Independents STRONGLY DISAPPROVE while only 64% of Republicans STRONGLY APPROVE of @realDonaldTrump

As I recall, Hillary Clinton had about a 95% chance of winning the 2016 Presidential race, according to the 4 or 5 top national polls in the days leading up to the election. In other words, are you all using the same pollsters and methods? #FakePolls

If you notice the polls were right. She won the popular vote. The EC won by 70,000 votes combined are why the whole damn thing is suspect. #Fact

I'm a fan of polls but they have gotten a bunch of stuff wrong in a few important races over the past couple of years. So I remain skeptical.

Ok @brianstelter can we STOP fixating on 29% now and start talking about the 44%? As one of the 44% I can say your coverage focusing only on Trump voters is divisive and unhelpful. There are many more who are horrified than there are those who would follow him over the cliff.

2+2 equals - what ever party (Trump) wants it to be equal .... it could be 3 or 5 or 4
