I don't know if there's direct political fallout to the Putin meeting, but a pretty clear impact by now is that relatively fringe theories about Trump's motives moved to the mainstream and even center-right elite in a way that wasn't true before. Not sure that just goes away.

What changed is, his presidency effectively ended this week. It's only a question of how long it takes the GOP to recognize it.

Indicting 12 Russian military personnel for state-run electronic warfare sets the table for treason charges.

My rabidly-Republican/MAGA uncle sent me a photo of Putin with a Trump puppet on his lap. My concern is that this 'change' is happening too late to impact the security of the 2018 midterm elections. We know Russia has infiltrated our systems. To what end?

Well, we will have to see @cnn give Trump even more press Friday night. Unbelievable that they would report on Trump EVEN MORE THAN ALL HE GETS EVERY DAY. They are enablers, and Brian, you should be ashamed after all the "lies"? you have spoken about the danger of Trump.

Not so sure. Don't see Republicans doing ANYTHING to prevent Trump from anything.

Things I believe I've been careful not to say for fear of being labeled a whackjob are on the regularly scheduled TV news. It's very remarkable.

Yes, let’s discount actual CIA agents, leaders in our military, and historians who have decades of experience with subjects like Trump & his behavior toward Russia. And let’s base that on one reporter saying this is a”fringe theory”. Okay... 🙄
