You are failing yourselves.Maybe it's Russia making you fail.Since almost everyone of you, seems to agree that Russia sowed seeds of discord, but you still carry on with divisive http://journalism.You  are so deep into the discord such that the media can't turn clock backwards!

One of my biggest issues with the "media" since the whole Trump saga begin is that during the campaign the massive amount of coverage the major networks gave him. Yeah I get it, it's your job to cover news and candidates and Trump was both of those but it was nonstop 24/7 Trump.

Maybe, but traditional journalism norms were out the window a long time ago. Not just CNN, but all the cable nets & many print sources have blurred line between reporter/analyst/opinion. More editorializing of news is not the way to go, b/c we know which side benefits from that.

Agree, too much agitated editorializing and not straight news from all outlets. It exacerbates the tribalism and anger.

We're still having a debate over whether to accept an obviously self-evident truth. So yeah.

No. The ubiquity of smartphones coupled with the exponential evolution of technology has ushered in a digital media ecosystem in which maximum clicks are generated via bad news and fear. Bad news gets more clicks than good news. It’s all about analytics and clicks.

News is generally not good. It’s not news when the planes land on time. News is deviation from the norm. And a few interesting features and opinion. But news is news.

Here’s something you @ChrisCuomo and @donlemon can do now. Stop letting liars and sycophants onto your shows. They do not add to the discussion and is the reason I rarely turn on @CNN any longer. Zucker is gone so try it out. Only people who tell the truth

Yes. The Trump administration is an existential crisis for democracy. Yet news orgs are grinding out stories that normalize it, as if they either cannot see what is happening or don't know what to do about it.
