        I think if the point is to demonstrate journalists are down with the people, high school jobs vs. jobs people need to survive as adults doesn't quite match up. I get it, but I also don't get it.

        Or needed the jobs to get through college? I got through with no financial help from parents. I was responsible for what the financial aid documents said should be my contribution and theirs.

        oh +100- I was a faculty-in-residence for 2 years in a dorm with a food shelter in the basement - but I'd really like to know the % of NYT and WaPo journalists who had to deal with that - I feel like @sewellchan and @tanzinavega could chime in here, given their personal stories
