The government should have no stake in news outlets. That’s obvious right? https://twitter.com/ewerickson/status/1014275876865957888 …

Polls find widespread support for PBS, NPR, etc. On the other hand, conservatives have made numerous arguments against the govt funding

Actually probably one of the best news sources you can rely on and consistently voted the least bias news available.

Your opinion, MY opinion is the opposite, they hardly ever have anyone supporting a non-liberal issue, the few times they have someone they don’t agree with they’re very confrontational, they way they present the news is always designed to favor issues liberals love.

Because 1) they are biased as hell 2) the govt is $21 trillion in debt and 3) the free market, nonprofits, and individuals can give us news.

However, if one is committed to big, heavy-handed, fascist govt THEN one would want govt-controlled and funded radio. Hence NPR and the like.

Nothing the government does is free of political bias, you are talking about state run media, just like North Korea. It would be the propaganda arm of whatever political party is in power.

US media already has a propaganda arm of the government, so I don't see the problem. :P Tbf Fox News does some reporting, but if I've got this right (pls tell me if I'm wrong) viewers are by & large in it for the talk shows, which say baby jails're "essentially summer camps."
