We don't need to prop up a corrupt industry. The internet provides all citizens with the ability to get and send out news. If CNN was shut down tomorrow, nothing would lost. The country would be better off.

True! They teeter between apocalypse and “gotcha” and end up looking like Sponge Bob! We’d all be better off without them!

Were you born a moron or just become one as you grew up? State-run media? Delete your account, please.

So besides the whole State media thing. What will this group cover/say that make it sustainable that current Media doesn’t? What controversy will it report that it won’t be shredded for bias?
-
And how will it make enough money to be sustainable?

What if every business had to produce a product that sold? If you have a bad product, you lose. If you actually have something worthwhile, it will sell. CNN has no viable product to sell, therefore they are failing. Easy.

Yeah, I don't see a benifit for the tax payer. All that would do is further cement the relationship between government and whichever media take the handout.
