I remember the days when you guys carried Trump’s rallies as a primary candidate in full, for unprecedented free media. Now you’re bragging you’re not covering a president? Come on, man.https://twitter.com/brianstelter/status/1009585361125814272 …

That is a lie Brian you have become an activist not just “a media guy” if you were a true media guy you would have covered this biased “reporting”pic.twitter.com/QUF72vrAOe
Why should you cover a propaganda event. Hold a press conference and take questions and everyone will cover it...
What they're just saying is that you guys helped elect this man by giving oxygen to everything he said and did without critiquing it in real time. Now you have to own it. It's good that you're cutting off the supply now, but it's a little late.
Brian, you are not that stupid.
When the things the POTUS is spouting are mostly lies and are less enlightening than a cheerleader rally, real news organizations don't cover them. If you want Trump propaganda, stick to Fox and RT.
1. Ratings do not equate to good journalism. 2. CNN did cover Trump WAY too much during the primaries. Still, cleaning up their behavior late is better than not cleaning it up at all. 3. All media outlets need to do a better job of dropping coverage of Trump's charades.
...and you do sound like a Trump apologist. CNN is pretty centrist. Trump has dragged 1/3 of the country into far-right extremism, and that makes centrists like CNN and even solid conservatives like Never Trumpers seem downright liberal. It's a matter of perspective.
I know. I laugh at liberals who send me pablum and claim I'm trolling because I respond & disagree with his stupid hot takes. Pansy just blocked me. At least he'll stop sending me emojis like a teenage girl.
But Brian he makes a point. If you’re going to analyze media, you should analyze fact that when Trump first announced, the media gave him a huge pass on vetting, and unfair coverage over other candidates from both parties. That’s a fact. He was a ratings driver & Media ate it up.
You are not bragging. You’re being snide. The “As expected” part kind of tips it off. It’s kind of like when conservative media outlet may say, “As expected, Brian Stelter spent a better part of the broadcast bashing Trump”.
During the election, @cnn covered entire Trump rally speeches, full length tirades against Hillary day after day.
With the amazing reporters you had, why didn't you find out abt FBI investigation into Trump?
Hillary's coverage?
" what abt the emails"?
" oh the emails!"
You’re a script reader
I change the channel when I see the President speaking. I have heard enough lies from him to last a lifetime!!!
You do??? Sure haven’t talked much about journalists (your peers) bribing Federal Agents. That may be something of relevance for you to report on
